At some point in the last couple of weeks one of us had the wonderful idea of changing our van for a car
One of the odd things about Denmark is that you can see the price lists for cars on the manufacturers website so it doesn't take long to realise that you are not going to replace the car at all.
We had thought about a VW touran like this one but they seem to start at about £35k so that is out of the window, in fact I don't think we could afford a new one the same as ours at the moment!
Maybe you could get a discount on the car if the stearing wheel is on the wrong side.
ReplyDeleteI'm mostly healed up thanks but have one little finger shorter than the other and drink tea like a posh twit.

It's not often that this blog contains complaints about the cost of buying things in Denmark!
ReplyDeleteBen (In the renowned tax haven of the UK!)
I spent today escorting JR s he selected his new 4x4; then we lunched with Peter, who is collecting his new Fusion next week - bargains, apparently.
ReplyDeleteWhy even think of changing your car when J has obviously settled in so well to the van?
You will need the van with two children. anyway.

2 things
ReplyDeleteNot complaining about the cost in Denmark as much as boring everyone with an anecdote about the fact that we thought about buying a new car but then realised that ew cannot afford it.
Secondly we were not planning to replace the van with a 2 seater as you can see, just a more refined van.
Sorry to bore you all!
What disability do you have then to be driving around in your current car? surely you dont buy them you just have to qualify for one. We have similar vehicles in England usually there blue and only have 3 wheels, so yours looks a top of the range version so why get rid of it?
