There is some crappy saying that he who dies with the most toys wins, we ll I am throwing my name in the ring (should that be hat?)
Yesterday I went shopping for essential items for the kitchen project, namely a cordless drill/screwdriver. Anyone with office hands who has spent a few hours building flat pack stuff will be able to tell you that it leads to sore hands and takes a long time. This baby is going to solve all of my problems and better still, L&K part paid for it. Rejoice!
The other essential items were a super cheap DVD player for the basement and an ipod for my coming travels and because I want one and because it was my bonus and just because!
Bring on the Ikea units...
The basement is full of them - toys and IKEA units. You are going to have so much fun in November.
ReplyDeleteFor those of you who have not heard yet - I am changing job 1. November as well. I'm going to become an Oracle expert....

Hi as a former proffessional in the field of assembling flat pack furniture i can tell you that no amount of fancy drills is going to make it a pleasant experience and there are always bits left over. Bring on the blisters

If you've found something that will "solve all of your problems",buy the firm.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you find the "crappy saying"
Wins what?
The biggest toybox?
For toybox, read "cellar"
K must be a saint.(I think that she may need to be during Nov., especially week 4 when she will be left to cope, whatever the state of completion.
Shall I return with my super-glue & no more nails, if necessary?
