Narrative Backbone

Apparently Big Williams World is lacking narrative backbone; this has lead me to wonder if this is something that could or should be considered more carefully here. I try to explain what is going on and I hope that it follows my life with a similar logic or lack thereof...
Yesterday MK had a tortuous 1½hour journey to work and had to start her first meeting from the car. 15 minutes after that meeting ended the nursery called her to say that J had a fever so she had to go home to get him. Bummer!
Hopefully the little guy is better today as MK is working from home and having him around has a serious impact on ones productivity...

Working from home with an 18 month old in the vicinity? Totally impossible I would have thought, unless J is watching Teletubbies on repeat all day!

Tim has started pre-school two afternoons a week. It was very momentous for me (not him) and I cried most of the way round Tesco's as I tried to make the most of my 2.5 hours without him (why on earth did I go to Tesco's when I could have gone and had a nice coffee somewhere- yes I wondered that!). Anyway, Tim loved it, didn't miss us at all.

J fortunately still sleeps for about 3 hours in the early afternoon.... Then I just need to get approx. a days work done in that time.
Well done Tim. E - call me for moral support next time it gets too momentous.

    Not a lack of vertebrae
    That leaves the readers cold
    But those rhyming couplets
If I may make so bold!
