We just had a call from the hospital to say the the biopsy samples that were taken from DKs gut were too superficial so they were not able to test them properly. We will therefore have to go back on the 30th for 3 days more rounds of colonic irrigation and will have a general anaesthetic on 2nd October to do another biopsy.
Apparently the Xrays seem to show that there is a good chance he has Hirshprungs Disease so it is important to take the biopsy to get a final result.
We are not impressed :-(
