J is away on a school field trip for the next couple of nights so the house is quiet and MK is worrying as only a mother can (or should).
I pointed out that we are more likely to hear that he has not behaved himself than been in a terrible accident and she wasn't worried about that, but apparently that didn't help anything.
Summer is continuing unabated and apart from being too busy at work to keep anyone happy with the myriad of different things I need to do, life is good.
Enjoy the peace and quiet, if there is an emergency you will hear in a nanosecond and usually it is far better to find out about things afterwards or so I'm told. aj
