Now we need to sell this place.

We looked at the house with the pool on Sunday morning along with another new one which was fancy and modern, but not really what we want and it is one of the first built in a new area so it would be in a building site for the next 5 years or so.

The house with the pool is perfect, just the right amount of rooms, space and all that stuff and it is in a great spot. Hopefully we'll be able to sort something out and buy it.

I'd be interested in how the "cold hearted" calculation was made on the cost of having a swimming pool. Without knowing the size of it or the costs of electricity, I'm quite impressed that you managed to work that out. Would you care to share your workings?

I have a friend up the road with a similar outdoor unheated pool, we will find out what it costs to run it and if we aren't going to use it, then we'll fill it in or make it into a skate park!

I got the new kitchen cupboard up and the lights attached on Saturday so I think we are more or less done with our kitchen for now.

How about a small wind turbine,so popular in Denmark,to heat the pool, or failing that filling the pool with small children so the water is heated from their body heat (or urine).

  3. Apparently it costs about £500 per year to run a heated outdoor pool This will not be heated so I think it will be about £300. £25 per month then but there are a lot of things to fall into place before that happens.

I'll come & lie in it & generate heat from the high fat Danish diet.
Better still, aj & I will come.
Invite your siblings over with their little hot bods,
    Where is the microwave?
Lets have some pics of the house - hope you get a good deal.
