Some things don't change. I arrived at Orly airport last night with a young consultant from Stockholm who hasn't been to Paris before.
The taxi drivers were on strike.
No worries, we figured out how to get the metro to the hotel without much trouble and all was well. Apparently the taxi driver strike continued this morning so my colleagues who are staying in another hotel had to walk 4km to the office whilst we voluntarily walked the 2km from out hotel to the office.
We got to the office at 8:50 to find more or less nobody here and nothing ready for the workshop we are running
On the plus side, lunch was good and healthy and I am sure we'll get something good to eat tonight
