Ready to go

The guys came back this morning and finished installing the fireplace. It looks great and it's only a little bit like having a dalek in the living room...

This being Denmark, we have to have the installation certified by the chimney sweep before we can try it out, but that shouldn't take too long to get sorted out and then I suppose we need some wood to burn.

Only in Denmark would a log burning stove have such unlimited style! Looks like it's made by B and O!
Also looks like you can get the Internet on it!
Interesting to see how you keep the glass clean.
    Quite gorgeous!

    Wonderful.
You could make bricks from newspaper, like aj - don'y burn very well, but they get rid of old papers & fill up those odd hours.....

There was no need for the repetition on the tedium of my green, energy saving newspaper briquette activities, which are more suited to hotter climates where they may take less than a week to dry out.But I am also using them as an insulating layer in the porch during storage. aj
