Lovely

DK has been ill the last couple of days and then we noticed a big red ring on his leg (the black line around it is my doing to see if it is growing or not).

It turns out that it is all related to an infected tick bite so now he is on antibiotics for 10 days and we can hope that it doesn't developed into Lyme disease

    it looks a bit better and his fever has gone. It seems that clearing the infection before it reaches other places is the key to avoiding the lyme disease. i guess we just hope that it all goes away with the bite.

    Lyme disease - I've had a lot of infected bites but never lyme disease - is it anything to do with Dorset?

    Lyme disease is a serious disease that you get from being bitten by a tick that is infected with a specific bacteria. if the infection gets into your nervous system then it is incurable and causes long term neurological problems. Google it.
